Speech Pathologist - Bourke
NSW Outback Division of General Practice (ODGP) is seeking to appoint a Speech Pathologist to a full-time position based in Bourke, a rural community located in western NSW.
About the role:
- You will work in an early intervention role, providing assessment and therapy for children 0-8 years old with language and communication needs
- You will have the opportunity to provide outreach services to communities surrounding Bourke
- You will have the opportunity to plan and provide education and capacity-building programs that meet the needs of the community
- You will be supported to work in a variety of settings including preschools, schools, GP clinics and community health.
Please note – motivated new graduates will be considered for the role and will be supported with Clinical Supervision.

Clinical Administration Support Officer - Lightning Ridge
1 Part Time Position (30 hours per week)
Purpose of the Role
This position will provide quality administrative support to the ODGP clinical programs including responsibility for management of patient referrals, patient bookings, maintenance of clinical software and databases, liaison with General Practices in the region, collating reports and evaluations, and record management.
As part of the Corporate Services team, you will report directly to the Corporate and Program Manager and will also undertake corporate functions including reception duties (mail/phone/fax/incoming & outgoing correspondence), asset and fleet management, maintenance of files and registers, assistance in database and correspondence management, and quality improvement initiatives.
A highly attractive salary package is available under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award with a starting hourly rate of $30.00 plus superannuation, pro rata of 5 weeks annual leave, leave loading and an additional salary sacrificing benefit up to the amount of $16 050 per annum.
