The NSW Outback Division of General Practice (NSW ODGP) is a health service provider working to improve the health of people living in the outback shires of Cobar, Bourke, Brewarrina, and Walgett. NSW ODGP currently has the following full time Mental Health Nurse vacancies and is looking for enthusiastic professionals to join the organisation and contribute to our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in north western NSW.  The NSW ODGP manages a variety of health contracts focusing on early intervention and prevention of disease, chronic disease management, mental health care, healthy lifestyle programs and health promotion.

 

The Mental Health Nurses will work within the ODGP MHNIP program based upon an innovative model of care and collaborative service framework involving Local Health District Mental Health Services, General Practice and Aboriginal Health Community controlled services. The MHNIP positions will be working directly with General Practice led multidisciplinary teams in both mainstream GP and Aboriginal Medical Service settings as well as undertaking brief clinical placements with the Local Health District Mental Health services to strengthen the Stepped Model of Care.

Highly attractive salary packages (based on CNC rate - $94,000 to 98,000 plus leave loading and superannuation) will be paid according to qualifications and experience and will be in line with the relevant modern awards.
